FYI: There is a known bug in our registration system where after a successful registration it occasionally returns an error saying the registration was cancelled. If this occurs, as long as your paypal transaction completes, your registration is successfully in our system and you do not need to take any other steps.

Hey folks! Just a quick reminder that we’re requiring all attendees for No Brand Con 2022 to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, and to show proof of vaccination at the event. Remember, to be considered fully vaccinated it must be two weeks after the second shot of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine (or the one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine), which means you must receive it prior to April 8th.
With the Moderna vaccine, there is a required four weeks between shot one and two, and with the Pfizer vaccine there is a three week break. That means if you haven’t yet been vaccinated, but still intend on attending, you need to schedule your vaccination as soon as possible. The latest you could get your first Moderna vaccination is March 11th, and for the Pfizer vaccine it’s March 18th.
At this time we are highly recommending a booster for people who were vaccinated more than five months ago as well, though we have yet to decide if that will be a requirement. We’re excited to run as safe an event as possible, and we can only get there if everyone pitches in.
(Update: To clarify since there’s some confusion, we are accepting J&J vaccinations – we just wanted to post a reminder for folks planning to still get a Pfizer or Moderna vaccination that the process can take 5-6 weeks to be considered fully vaccinated so they could plan accordingly.)
Guest Announcement: Lewis “Linkara” Lovhaug
We’re excited to announce another guest for No Brand Con 2022 — Lewis “Linkara” Lovhaug!
Lewis “Linkara” Lovhaug is a comic book Youtuber most known for making excessively long videos about children’s media where people in spandex punch rubber suited monsters. When not battling robots, Lovecraftian monster Gods, and evil doppelgangers on his main show “Atop the Fourth Wall,” he’s ranting about the worst dreck the comic book industry has ever thought up and then dressing up like a ghoul to analyze horror comics.
And then he remembers “Oh, yeah, people like it when I talk about Power Rangers, don’t they?” and proceeds to release another retrospective on it.
Come Find Us at Anime Milwaukee 2022 This Weekend!
We’re excited to say the No Brand Con XIX roadshow is returning, as you’ll be able to find us at Anime Milwaukee this weekend! That’s right, we’re going to be in downtown Milwaukee this weekend (Feb. 11-13), as AMKE puts on its fourteenth (and a half) convention at the Wisconsin Center and Hilton.
If you find us while you’re there, we’d love to hang out and say hello. You can, of course, also preregister for No Brand Con 2022 at our Ambassador Table too for our Road Show price of only $20. This is likely our last stop before the con this year, so it may be your final chance to get this incredibly low rate!
If you’re coming to AMKE, we hope to see you there!

Guest Re-Announcement: Chris Hackney
As things move closer to our 2022 dates, we’re excited to announce a (re)addition to our guest list for No Brand Con XIX: Chris Hackney!
Originally from Florida, Chris found his way to acting when in college for music. While looking for more outlets for artistic expression, he discovered an entire new world of creativity in acting. Several years of training and a cross-country move later, Chris has found his life and passion in voiceover.
Chris can be heard in various forms including commercials, video games, anime, and animation. Currently, he’s most known for titles such as Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Dimitri), Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (Boey), Hunter x Hunter, Mega Man 11, K Project, Valkyria Chronicles 4, and Gundam SEED. Chris is always looking forward to the next exciting opportunity he can lend his passion to.
Our Annual Thanksgiving Week/Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale is Back!
A tradition we missed last year (for obvious reasons) was our annual November sale for preregistration. Well, with the convention moving forward at full speed (with some important safety precautions being taken) we’re excited for the chance to bring it back!
That’s right, from today (November 19th 2021) through Cyber Monday (November 29th 2021) we are discounting weekend badge preregistration for No Brand Con 2022 to just $20! That’s $10 off the normal preregistration price, half the price of a weekend badge at the door, and less than even our cheapest day pass!
All you have to do to take advantage of this rate is go to our online registration page between November 19th and 29th and take advantage of the rate!
Reminder: All Attendees for No Brand Con 2022 are required to show proof for vaccination against COVID-19.
We Are Requiring COVID-19 Vaccination For All No Brand Con 2022 Attendees
After several weeks of internal discussion, we are announcing that vaccination for COVID-19 will be required for all attendees, artists, and vendors No Brand Con 2022. This was not an easy decision to make, but we think it’s the only safe way that we can responsibly run the event. Panel Submissions Open for No Brand Con 2022!
We’re excited to open panel submissions for No Brand Con 2022! Whether you want to plunge into in-depth analysis of your favorite series, hear bizarre industry stories you’d never expect, or just want some cosplay tips, it’s the a great way to spend your time. Importantly though, many of our panels are actually provided by our attendees just like you.
Fan run panels often provide the highlights of the convention, and we couldn’t do this without them. We also consider time hosting a panel as “double Volunteer hours,” which means hosting an hour long panel counts as two hours of volunteer time.
If you’re interested in submitting a panel for No Brand Con 2022, you can head on over to our Panels page. There you’ll find the rules along with our online submission form. Importantly we are requiring that all panelists be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 for our 2022 event. If you submit a panel and it is accepted, please be prepared to provide proof of vaccination.
We’re excited to find out what you want to do!
Vendor and Artist Registration Has Been Re-Opened For No Brand Con XIX!
We’re moving along at full steam for No Brand Con 2022, and we’re happy to announce that we’ve now reopened Vendor and Artist Registration for No Brand Con 2022. Registration is open until December 1st 2021, and you can find instructions for both our Vendor Room and Artist Alley on our Vendors and Artists Page.
As always this is a juried selection process, so not all applicants will be accepted. Additionally spots are limited as many of our scheduled vendors and artists rolled over their registrations from 2020. If you are someone who had a rolled over table and have not heard from us about 2022, please make sure you reach out to either our vendor or artist alley departments to make sure we take care of you.
We’re really excited to see you all this spring!
