This upcoming weekend Daisho Con will be taking place in the Wisconsin Dells, but unfortunately our No Brand Con road show won’t be there again this year. We know that can be disappointing since it’s one of the few places attendees have been able to take advantage of our $20 road show rate. We really don’t like disappointing our attendees though…
…so, like last year, we’ve decided to offer it to you online instead.
That’s right — During Daisho Con 2019 we’ll be offering our $20 preregistration rate online again. That rate is usually only available online during our annual Black Friday to Cyber Monday sale. Of course, with Black Friday only coming up a week later, we’ve decided that rather than have the price go up for a few days in the middle, we’ll just extend the sale for the week inbetween! Again! Exactly like we did last year!
All you have to do to take advantage of this rate is go to our online registration page between November 22nd and December 2nd and take advantage of the rate!
Did you know there’s a great way to help support No Brand Con while getting some pretty amazing perks for yourself? It’s true — with our limited “Sponsor” registration tier you can get the most out of the convention while helping us make sure the con can be as amazing as possible.
Sponsorships start at just $85, and with that package you get some pretty great stuff – including:
Your name printed in the program guide
This year’s T-Shirt and a grab bag of goodies
Priority seating at guest panels and the cosplay contest
Early access to the vendor room
Access to a sponsors only meet-and-greet panel
We limit each year to only twenty-five sponsor badges, but all you have to do to purchase one for yourself is to go to our registration page and select the sponsor tier. If you’ve already preregistered and would like to upgrade your badge, contact our registration team at sales@nobrandcon.org to make the upgrade.
Get your badge today, and have your best con possible!
Panels are always a big part of any No Brand Con experience. Whether you want to plunge into in-depth analysis of your favorite series, hear bizarre industry stories you’d never expect, or just want some cosplay tips, it’s the a great way to spend your time. Many of our panels are actually provided by our attendees just like you too.
Fan run panels often provide the highlights of the convention, and we couldn’t do this without them. We also consider time hosting a panel as “double Volunteer hours,” which means hosting an hour long panel counts as two hours of volunteer time.
If you’re interested in submitting a panel for No Brand Con 2020, you can head on over to our Panels page. There you’ll find the rules along with our online submission form.
No Brand Con is a completely volunteer run event, and we’re always looking for more people to join the team. Conventions like ours don’t happen without ordinary people like you (and me) pitching in, and if you’ve ever wanted to staff a convention now’s a great time to start.
This week on Thursday, September 19th, No Brand Con is having an open staff meeting for new members in Eau Claire, WI. It starts at 8:00pm in the Menomonee room of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Davies Center.
Joining staff has plenty of perks, and is frankly a ton of fun. Consider stopping by and becoming one of the No Brand Heroes!
(Regular meetings continue at 8pm on Thursday nights at other locations – if you can’t make this meeting and would like to join staff please email us for more information)
The No Brand Con’s Vendor Room and Artist Alley are both now accepting applications for our 2020 convention! If you’re an artist or a vendor, this is the place to show off your talent and/or wares.
Pricing and policies for both of these areas can be found on our Vendors & Artists page, along with links to the applications. We want to provide a diverse, well rounded shopping experience for the attendees, so please don’t be shy in submitting an application.
As these are juried processes, Both Vendor Room and Artist Alley registration will be open until December 1st. After that our team will go through the applications, with confirmations following in the weeks after.
Most of you probably guessed that this announcement was coming, but we’re still happy to tell you that No Brand Con 2020 is officially coming your way! That’s right — mark your calendars for April 17-19, 2020.
We’re, of course, returning to the Chula Vista Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. A lot of things are still being looked at for next year (including our theme), but we just couldn’t wait to tell you the good news as soon as possible.
